Meet the founder
Jenice Rochelle Robinson
I’m a strategic communicator, storyteller, and sometimes policy analyst. My career has been defined by working to disrupt pernicious narratives, reframing public debates, and supporting grassroots efforts, advocacy organizations, and think tanks devoted to centering those of us who stand to lose the most when our policymakers and elected officials do the bidding of an elite few.
For two decades, I’ve used my skills to advance causes such as women’s rights, anti-poverty policy, workers’ rights, and economic justice. I’ve lent my communications expertise, media savvy, and policy chops to the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy, Omidyar Network, SEIU, the Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASP), the National Women’s Law Center (NWLC), and other nonprofits. I know first-hand that organizations sometimes need expert communications support without the added costs of a large staff. I started T Street Group to meet this need and provide high-level communications, narrative strategies, political communication, and qualitative policy analysis for mission-focused organizations and other ventures working to advance the common good. I work independently and, when necessary, with partners so I can scale my services to meet clients’ needs.
